The good stuff

Adding my debit card to Masterpass within the app was faster than I expected. The login via Google or Facebook worked right away - no password headaches. What really helped was topping up my 1card directly from the app. I used to have to go to the station or use their website, but now I can do it while I’m waiting for my coffee. And yeah, I added my Clicks Clubcard too - every time I pay, points roll in. Small win, big satisfaction.

Also, the interface is clean, but not exactly flashy. It’s functional, not fun. And if you’re not already using 1card or Clicks, some features feel pointless.

Oh, and the app doesn’t work without an internet connection. That’s fine if you’re near a tower, but I once pulled up at a remote Engen station with zero signal and had to use cash. Not ideal. Still, it’s rare enough that it doesn’t ruin the experience.

If you fill up at Engen stations regularly, this app saves time and keeps your fuel spending tracked. It’s free, works on Android, and does exactly what it promises - nothing more, nothing less.
