The good stuff

Man, the physics on this thing are smooth. Bouncing off walls, floors, even bouncing off other enemies - it feels weightless but never floaty. I remember one stage where I had to ricochet off moving platforms while dodging exploding bees. It wasn’t easy, but when I finally nailed the rhythm and cleared it, I actually grinned. The soundtrack matches the vibe perfectly - upbeat, playful, and just jazzy enough to make you feel like you’re in a cartoon. And those trading cards? Collecting them isn’t mandatory, but unlocking new characters (like a dancing turtle or a guy with a giant mustache) adds a nice little incentive. It’s not deep, but it’s satisfying.

The not-so-good

It’s not exactly a marathon-length game. At around 3 to 4 hours of solid play, you’ll hit the end. And yeah, there are five bosses, but they don’t stretch the experience much beyond that. Also, the lack of a save system outside of checkpoints means if you die mid-stage, you have to start over from the last checkpoint. That’s fine for short sessions, but if you’re playing late at night and get frustrated, it can get annoying. Plus, the developer and license info are nowhere to be found - which is weird for a Switch title. Not a dealbreaker, but it makes me wonder if this is a hidden gem or just a quick indie experiment.

Bottom line

If you’re looking for a quick, whimsical platformer with tight controls and a dash of personality, Dunkadillo - Download for Nintendo-switch is worth a try. It’s not going to replace Pokémon Legends: Arceus, but it’s got that same kind of lighthearted joy in a smaller package. Grab it free or cheap - it’s not groundbreaking, but it’s genuinely fun for what it is. Definitely recommend if you’ve got 30 minutes and want to bounce around without stress.
